Happy New Year and may kindness be with you! Yesterday I listened to this podcast, “Loving Kindness and Social Change” by Sharon Salzberg, and the invitation is to be kind to self and others along the way! Yep, it’s a practice.
So, I once heard a great act of self-love is to just take a conscious breath in and out. Perhaps you cannot join us in formal practice on Mondays & Thursdays, so I invite you to just pause here and now and breathe in/out.
I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to be kind … if only for a moment.
Take refuge in the present moment. Mindfulness Meditation is the opportunity to rest in Presence in a supportive environment with others.
